Manhattan Beach, the beautiful Los Angeles enclave that is now one of the most sought after locations to reside in throughout the metropolitan area, boasts beautiful beaches, stunning architecture and a very tourist friendly downtown with excellent shopping and great dining.

With El Segundo to the North, North Redondo Beach and Hawthorne to the East and Hermosa Beach to the South, Manhattan Beach is surrounded by great communities to live in. If you find that home prices in this community are too steep for your budget and don’t mind a little longer commute, South Redondo Beach (ZIP: 90277) might be a more viable option. It’s still near the beach, borders Torrance to the East and Palos Verdes to the South, and is also a very desirable place to reside in the “South Bay” of Los Angeles.

Why does MB have the highest median home price in California? One reason is because the City comprises of neighborhoods that are known for being safe, aesthetically appealing and it is a short commute to downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach or Santa Monica. One of the first things that potential Manhattan homeowners notice (besides the beautiful beach and quaint downtown) is the building code for homes.
