We’re referring to an area of Los Angeles County that runs along the “South” portion of Santa Monica Bay.  Generally, anything south of LAX airport in Los Angeles is known as the South Bay.  This includes, but is not limited to the Beach Cities (Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach), El Segundo, Palos Verdes Peninsula (Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates and Palos Verdes Estates), Hawthorne, Lawndale and Torrance.

The South Bay is home to many great attractions and events.  One such event is the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) tournament each year in Manhattan Beach.  Interestingly, many of the United States’ top volleyball professionals live and train in the South Bay.  When they’re not competing in the Olympic Games, many of these star athletes are traveling the world over, competing in major competitions similar to the AVP.

Another excellent attraction is the Trump Los Angeles Golf Club in Palos Verdes.  Many visitors to the area would never guess that such a beautiful area could exist so close to downtown Los Angeles.  You’ll be delighted by the dramatic ocean bluffs and beautiful homes overlooking the Pacific.
